Vikram Aphale

Hi friends,
If I ask you a question - 'what is the similarity between the subjects: mathematics, conceptual physics and computer programming?'. Well, the question has got two answers. The first is that, all these three subjects require logical thinking. And the second is that I love all these three subjects. Believe me, if you could understand them, you will also be in love with them.
Take example of conceptual physics. You might have heard the amazing statements like: 'time is the fourth dimension', 'speed of light never changes', 'matter is nothing but the form of energy', 'light is made of traveling matter at the same time it is a propagating wave', and many more.
If you really like surprises then you will find these statements to be interesting. And if you do not, you will like to the reasons behind them. I would like to share my perception in this matter with you.
Let us take the first statement: 'every object in this universe is four dimensional and the time is that fourth dimension'. Try to understand this statement with me. Imagine a perfect two-dimensional object: an object with just length and width. Can there be any thing with zero thickness? Never. Even the sharpest blade of a glazing sword has got some thickness, may in terms of few micrometers. That is why you believe that 'every object in this universe is three-dimensional'.
Right?
Ok. Now, tell me about an object that has never borne means yet no came in existence. Confused? Well, this is the turning point. Let me help you at this important point. Let it be the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, a mountain, a stone, you, me or your computer in front of you. All these things must have been created at some time and will end at some day. The Earth is created billions of years ago. Your computer may be assembled five years ago. A man normally will die after say hundred years. All these statements indicate that on time axis some where an object starts and some where it ends. This means every object have got some 'time thickness'. It may be large as billions of years or may be small as few microseconds. But it is there. Thus every object is four dimensional and the time is the fourth dimension of every objet.
Have you imbibed the matter or will you need more
help? You can always contact me at vikram.aphale@gmail.com. For other interested
friends, I need you to share the thinking about these
subjects.
Bye.
-vikram
