Down load the zipped file from http://ekalwya.tripod.com/projects/besoft.zip

Extract it all the files in one folder only and double click on master.exe. The demo version is not password protected. So when you start and it asks for password just press enter.

Next screen has appearance simillar to any MS - Window. On the top, there is a menu bar with differnt menu options like scanner, planner etc. Once you click on any of the menu options,a drop down menu lists will appear at right hand side of the screen. You have to go in sequencially for designiong an entire grabox means scanner, then planner etc.

The software is not properly tested so be ready for crash any time.



A. - Click on scanner. A dop down list will appear on the right side of the screen. Select those options one by one.

This menu option will take all the input that is required for designing a gearbox.


*Required values for gear-box design :

1) For Prime Mover :
select "no"
or "yes" and enter any value between "1 to 2"

2) For Power
HP =2 to 20
KW = 2 to 15
Speed = 300 to 3000 rpm generally 1440RPM

3) Speeds
max = upto 5000
min = Between min. 500 & max. less than max.
no. of o/p speed = less than 2 to 64
